SLOPPY J's

Last week Clayt asked me if I had ever had a sloppy Joe. I didn't recall ever having one, and I pretty much hate the idea just because of the manwich commercials. But he convinced me that they could be good if they were homemade. So we gave it a whirl, I am not opposed to sauce and meat, so we whipped up some delicious saucey stuff with ground turkey and threw in tiny cut up hotdogs (to make sure we had the "mystery meat" vibe.) Topped it off with bacon and cheese, and you know what? IT WAS DELICIOUS. DON'T keep hating on the Sloppy J, if done right it could change your life.

New Haircut!!

I didn't take a picture of what all the hair in the sink looked like, but it pretty much filled up the entire bathroom sink. He hates the honor code, but I really love the new haircut.

Amelia Shmelia

We just went and saw the movie Amelia, with Hilary Swank...worst movie I have ever half-seen. Today is 2 dollar tuesdays at the cheap theater and because our cable does not come in until tomorrow, we decided to go have a great weekday movie date. worst decision yet. I was really excited about this movie, Amelia Earhart is totally fascinating, how she just disappeared and no one knows what happened( other than she probably crashed and died). her movie however, is anything but fascinating. and Hilary's accent was so annoying I wouldn't have been able to take it even if it was a good movie. Clayt said that Rosie O'Donnell was in this movie, we didn't stay long enough to see her, but really felt her presence. It sucked, just a heads up

WE LOVE THE HOLIDAYS

We went to Vegas on the 23rd and got to spend a little over a week there with our family and friends. I forgot my camera so it is a little hard to show all the fun things we did, but we are so grateful for the time we had on the Vegas vacation. Now we are back in the frozen tundra ready for a new semester. Hope everyone had a great holiday as well.
