SALT LAKE CITY

We got to go down to SLC this weekend to see my seeeesers and go to Clayt's family reunion. These angel babies are getting so big and I love squeezing their cheeks off. On friday we got in and just played with the girls and had some dinner and delicacies from some of the cool places by Rachel's house. Saturday we went to Clayt's family reunion and then we went on a double date with Rae and Brad and that was a lot of fun. We went to this place called Trio and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. Here are some cute pics of the babies, can't wait to see them in one month!

SNooki and Sara

So some kind of big news that I have yet to blog about... this is snooks. She is my sweet angel girl ford escort that we picked up for 500 bucks. She needed some TLC and we have been taking pretty good care of her fixing her up all kinds of special. We already have a special bond. Welcome to the family Snooki
And a note about this sweet lady...
My mom sent me a package with some things that I really could use. I got lots of great lotions and she sent me all my favorite things. I loved it, it made my whole week... maybe month. She even sent Clayt his fave candies. Thanks for the package mom, I love you. You are the BEST and I miss you like no ones biz
i know, ouch. But I just came home from the gym and ran to the mail box and ran back to my house with the package, so don't judge.

Real rough week saved by a picnic

This week was super harsh. School is really starting to get us down. I had 2 exams, 3 papers, a presentation and a group project. All in one week, it was BUSY and made me feel a little like this:

and this...
But it was saved by an awesome weekend. Clayt and I just relaxed! and the best part was our mid-afternoon picnic at the park. We were there for 3 and a half hours loving the beautiful weather.

Now its time to start back up on the homework train.

Cinco De Mayo!

We had our friends Becca and Devin over for a cinco de mayo feast and it rocked. I learned how to make homemade tortillas and margaritas. (becca and dev didn't want to take pictures), but I got a great shot of the feast:

Oh and another piece of exciting culinary news... we just bought a microwave!!! We haven't had one since december, and it feels so good to be reunited with this exquisite technology

The Simple Things

Yesterday the weather was real nice, so after a delightful nap, and some episodes of our new favorite show Glee, we went on a walk and got some frozen yogurt. Being in Rexburg, where there isn't much entertainment or things to buy, we have come to appreciate the simple things in life. We have become more creative in our frugality and I never thought I could be so happy living this kind of life. Lately we have been wanting to buy lots of things to upgrade some things in our apartment, but I am happy with what we do have, and when I think about it am grateful for the simplicity. And that someday we won't be freaking poor and we can have a baby who looks like this:

ASHTONS WEDDING....and baby update

Ashton got married this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding and perfect weather in Las Vegas. Clayt and I were super happy to be there, and especially for our bbq/pool party on friday.

Mr and Mrs. Jon Anderson

I got to spend some time with my favorite girls this weekend. They are too cute. Dylan is the best 2 year old swing master I know. she can almost do the "pump and push" on the swing with her tiny short legs.
I love her face.
Monie is unreal. She has such a personality now and is the nicest baby.
Dee Dee is a great yard worker too.
We had a great break from school and by the looks of this semester, it will be our last great break for awhile.

we had a great Easter feast. The food was so good and really easter-y. Ham, mashed potatoes, devil eggs, carrots and ROLLS! it was REAL good.

this week I was pleasantly surprised coming home to Clayt cooking us a delicious meal. barbecue chicken burritos. yumbuffalo chicken pizza on easter eve with our egg dying extravaganza.

It was a great weekend, a little sad that our families were in Vegas. But still a great holiday with just the two of us
